The Gunners are in the middle of a
significant January overhaul of their squad, with Alexis Sanchez’s pending move to Manchester United expected to be followed
by a host of new arrivals.
Konstantinos Mvaropanos has already joined from Greek side PAS Giannina, while the club are also working on deals for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Henrikh
Mkhitaryan and Malcom.
Arsenal believe they need two new attacking players to minimise the impact of Sanchez’s exit, but The Times say that those plans are in disarray after Malcom rejected
the terms offered to him.
Furthermore, while Arsenal had been confident of agreeing a fee of £44m for the 20-year-old, Bordeaux are playing hardball
after growing annoyed with the public interest shown in him.
