Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
is open to pursuing a deal for
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw
in January, according to the Irish
Independent .
Pochettino worked with Shaw at
Southampton prior to the left-back's
move to Old Trafford and is viewed by
the player as his mentor.
United are interested in securing Danny
Rose from Spurs, with the left-back
behind Ben Davies in Pochettino's
pecking order, and the two could swap
clubs in January.
